During Term 1 our focus has been Who am I? For art we looked at drawing our own self - portraits and separating them in to quarters so each quarter was filled with a different a media - collage, paint, sketch and pastel. First we watched a youtube clip on how our face is symmetrical and where the different things are on faces go. Then we drew a draft copy to practice the oval shape of our head and our new techniques for drawing our eyes and nose. After that we started our good copy. We had lots of fun and enjoyed working with lots of different art medias.
